I will dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
